TKSB’s bulk service team is fully committed to deliver bulk-charging services for both surface and underground blasting. TKSB has developed reliable bulk charging system and mobile mixing equipment in order to provide excellent services to customers.
Surface Charging Service
TKSB has a group of well-trained operators and fleet of bulk delivery trucks to ensure efficient and effective supplies of bulk emulsion. Each unit of truck can carry up to 12mT of bulk blend to deliver to blasting sites. With continuous improvement of TKSB’s bulk system, TKSB hydraulically operated and controlled charging system has been assured to be problem-free. In terms of safety, our trucks are fully equipped with safety devices to feedback and control the system automatically. Process and production parameters are recorded and displayed on the control panel for monitoring and analysis purposes. All TKSB bulk trucks are installed with GPS to enhance security and safety as well as operational capability and efficiency. TKSB is capable to customise and develop bulk-charging systems and as well as bulk-delivery trucks for our customers.
Underground Charging Services
TKSB offers a high performance Underground Pumping Machine (UPM) that has a built-in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) to control all safety and process parameters.
TKSB’s modular UPM consists of bulk emulsion, gassing chemicals and water tanks, which could deliver up to 1.5 - 2.5 mT of bulk emulsion. It can be mounted on a truck or trailer for mobilization into the tunnel. All rotating equipment that in contact with bulk emulsion are featured with safety interlock systems. This is vital to ensure a safe and trouble-free working environment.
In order to reduce potential safety hazards, TKSB designs its charging system not to pump sensitized bulk emulsion. Bulk emulsion is only sensitized / gassed in the blasthole.
