Electric Detonators
 
Electric detonators (Daveydet) supplied by Tenaga Kimia Berhad are quality products from well known French company, Nitro Bickford. Initiating power of the detonators is equivalent to No 10 strength as a result of the compression of the 0.8g base charge conferring a priming compatibility with the new generation of explosives such as "cap sensitive emulsions".

Special characteristics of Short delay detonator:

Accuracy of delay timing

High level of safety-Each fusehead is protected with anti-static sleeve; primary charge is held/protected in the delay element.

3.

 Triple crimping of the detonator shell ensure excellent water resistance.

Depending on the applied current and type of fuse head: 0.7-4.5ms; seismic:less than 1ms for I=5A

 #1-20: 25-500 ms with 25ms interval.
#24-48: 600-1200ms with 100ms interval.
#56-80: 1400-2000ms with 200ms interval.
