It possesses a favourable condition of high density, high velocity and fast energy release that usually permits expanded blast patterns with resultant savings in explosives and drilling. With its excellent water resistance, it can be used as sleeper charges in wet holes. Example of a typical expanded pattern for our bulk emulsion as compared to ANFO is shown below:

Product Properties

Emulex Bulk emulsion can be effectively primed with EMULEX 100 or 150 in 55 mm diameter chub. The total number of boosters will vary with the rock formation and size of boreholes.
