EMULEX® packaged explosives are the most advanced water-based emulsion explosives. They are characterized by superior rock breaking properties, excellent handling safety, very good stability and high water resistance ideally suited for tropical climate. EMULEX® packaged explosive is detonator-sensitive and typically packaged with plastic film, paper shell, ABS canister or plastic tube depending on their applications such as open pit mining, quarrying, underground blasting and tunneling, underwater blasting, infrastructure construction (such as road, railway, hydroelectric dam, airport and others) as well as inland and off-shore seismic surveying and exploration purposes. These products can be normally used as primer or column charge for civil blasting works.

TKSB is able to offer EMULEX® packaged explosives in various sizes from small diameter (25-50mm diameter) to the larger diameter (50-200mm diameter) to cater for our customers’ requirements.

Other sizes and product range of EMULEX® packaged explosives can be custom-made for surface and underground blasting activities if so required by the customer.

RANGE OF EMULEX® PACKAGED EXPLOSIVES

EMULEX® 100 - For general surface blasting. Intended for column charging and priming. Without aluminum powder.

EMULEX® 150 – Specialised for surface and underwater blasting. Use as both column and bottom charge. Added with aluminum to provide higher explosive energy.

EMULEX® 180 – Formulated for underground blasting and tunneling needs. Intended for column charging or priming. Posses superb explosion energy to enhance pull factor.

EMULEX® 300 – Use as water resistant blasting agent. Suitable replacement for EMULEX 1000 series for column charging at places where mobile mixing unit cannot access to.

EMULEX® 400 – Classified as permissible explosives formulated for underground bituminous coal mine blasting activities. Safe and effective column charge under flammable methane-air atmosphere.
